Hi Celia:

Sending all the good ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~and best wishes for your husband's speedy recovery.

What kind of knee surgery is it? I had a total knee replacement a little over a year ago and it's been very successful. Now just to get the other one done and I'll be running all over the place.

Love - Momster

Sending good vibes to your husband, Celia. I echo Polly's sentiments - successful surgery and a quick, uneventful recovery.

Thanks everyone...

Momster, So glad your knee replacement went well. Bernie is having ACL reconstruction! Whatever that is! It's outpatient, so he will be out in the afternoon tomorrow.

Hope it is going well for him. I think he will have lots of rehab. At least the athletes who have that surgery are always shown puffing away on exercise machines. But as with our knee replacements, he should be good as new eventually! Fingers crossed! :xfingers:

His doctor said the surgery went perfectly! Now I get to cater to his every whim, running around whenever he needs anything at least for a few days. He managed to get up the steps on his crutches, but the nausea kicked in for awhile, even though he had the lowest, lowest amount of sedative plus the spinal block. The nurses reported how fun he was in recovery!

Kathy, that was interesting about the athletes. He will start physical therapy soon, but I don't envsion him huffing and puffing too much!!!!

Thanks for everyone's support. Celia
