Dame Judith's story

I thought that she was very like me now that I have lost a bit of weight.

The story behind her is that our daughter Judy gave her to me as a birthday present when she was studying at the conservatorium, majoring in voice. We immediately named her Dame Judith. Judy has always been a frog person & when she was young, if she thought someone or something was very good. she would say they were 'froggable'. She collected frogs of every shape & size & even had a real pet one here at Beachmere. Dame Judith has graced our back patio all these years & that is why I am going to try to make an appliqued bag for her. To remind her of home while she is so far away.

And the plump tummy looks so nice and lumpy to just wanna rest ya head on and cuddle-----

Frogs are funny and *cute* --- they use to jump into our pool and I always knew when they did cus all the *girls* would start *screaming* and I would

and laugh---

Before the pool cover was removed we always had a family of *birds*---dipping and swish-swashing away in the water that built up from the rain---they were soooooooo adorable to watch

AND we also had a pair of Canadian Geese visit us each year~~~
The MALE gorgeous and the female *frumpy*

They were my favorite to watch--

Hello Barb
We are off to New Zealand next Tuesday morning, Monday night your time. Only 6 more sleeps then it will be up up & away.

We will be back on the 18th but I will probably get online at times from Judy's place

HI Barb. Have a safe trip home. Know what you mean about packing stuff in. Must be a Virgo trait

I pack & repack a dozen times usually before I can get my port to closed. Usually finish up tossing half of what I had in & then only using half of what I take anyway. And of course the shopping helps fill things up on the way back.

I guess you did come first Barb so you must be # 1 & I must be Twinnie 2
