Cooking with aluminum foil

Post by emlepage1 »

Hello,

I often cook my fish or meat on aluminum foil to save on clean up time. Is this ok? Is there any risk of the aluminum foil causing a reaction?

Thank you,
Elaine

Hi Elaine,

Aluminum foil is safe and it's good for keeping our food from being cross-contaminated. It's especially useful if someone has previously used a grill to warm hamburger buns, or make toast, or otherwise contaminated it. Just cover the grill surface that you intend to use with foil.
