Mew symptoms for me!

Re: Mew symptoms for me!
Hi,
Welcome to the group. Your symptoms sound just like mine, when I was initially reacting, so I'm guessing you're still eating gluten and all the other foods that cause us to react. The lump in my gut was so bad that I was initially diagnosed with colon cancer by both my GP and my gastroenterologist. Both of them knew virtually nothing about microscopic colitis.
If you have constipation predominant microscopic colitis (MC), never, ever take an anti-inflammatory medication, especially budesonide, because those drugs are constipating, so they'll just make your symptoms worse. The loud noises coming from year abdomen are a trademark of MC, and most of us have to deal with them until we're able to get to remission. The color of your stool, depends on how long it remains in your intestines. The longer it's there, the darker it gets, due to a chemical reaction with bilirubin. The greenish yellow color typically comes from reacting to gluten.
Constipation is a symptom of a chronic magnesium deficiency, a problem that doctors will never correctly diagnose.
Again, welcome aboard, and please feel free to ask anything.
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I have the same pain below my belly button when I get bloated. I have a small hernia which is pretty common just below the belly button. MC has made it worse due to the inflammation I guess. The pain increases with a full bladder also.
