Cyclone Glenda

Another cyclone is making it's presence felt, this time in Western Australia. It is a category 4 storm & is expected to hit land this afternoon. People are being evacuated from the area. Keeping fingers crossed that it does not do the damage that Larry did. Huge tides & flooding are expected.

Looks like the cyclone season is not finished with us yet. The forecast is for more brfore the season is over.

Wasnt Glenda ,the good witch in the Wiz of OZ???
Or in one of the films???

Glenda is such a soft name--maybe she will pass thru *quietly* :blinking: and not leave any

's in her path!!!

Hope she stays away from you and yours. The eye looks awfully "tight" on that picture.

Hi All. Glenda is way the other side of Australia from us, about a 6 hour flight. Don't think she will trouble us any but the people in WA are in for a bit of a hiding I think. Just hope that there is not too much damage & that no one is hurt.
