Enterolab and Insurance
I submitted my invoice for my A1+C1 Enterolab testing to Anthem. I had paid $399 + shipping. They reimbursed me $283.08. Of course they did not cover the $30 shipping. I was pleased they covered as much as they did; I had no idea what they would do. I am sure all insurance policies are different.

Wow, you're very fortunate that your insurance paid for it. I hope the report is helpful to you. I was glad that I did it.

Thanks, Marcia. It was very helpful. I have cut out all gluten & dairy and stopped eating any tuna & oats based on the results. I am better, though not in remission yet.

Has anyone tried to submit their Enterolab invoice to Medicare?

I have my doubts. I've never tried to file a claim for an Enterolab test with Medicare, and I don't recall ever seeing a post here where anyone else tried. The best way to find out is probably to call the lab and asked them for the insurance codes for the tests you are interested in ordering, and then call Medicare and ask them if they will cover those billing codes.
