bacterial overgrowth and antibiotic treatment

Post by artteacher »

Tex and Lucy,

I gave up looking your post about a study on antibiotic treatment for celiacs who do not respond immediately to a gluten-free diet . . . Here is a study that shows why rifaximin was the chosen antibiotic that finally cleared up their symptoms due to bacterial overgrowth. If you can locate the original post, maybe the two should be linked.

Thanks for the research,
Marsha
