Anyone had COVID or Flu after both vaccinations and booster?

I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with me. Back a couple of years ago, I would have just thought it was my GI issues and I ate something that didn't agree with me, but today it's hard to tell. I do have a doctor's appt. tomorrow afternoon to try to perhaps rule some things out or figure out. The symptoms are mild and come and go. I haven't felt good since Friday morning and the GERD and heartburn has been part of it, but today it's kind of nonexistent. I've had nausea and diarrhea (mostly in the morning). Stomach ache that comes and goes. Low grade fever off and on. No real headache but dull sometimes. No breathing issues, cold symptoms, or anything like that. Just curious if any of you have either had COVID or the flu after both vaccinations and booster and flu shot also! Wondered what your symptoms were.

Hi, Jari. Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I can't tell you the symptoms, but I know several people who were fully vaccinated/booster and got the virus. I hope you feel better soon!

My PCP has had a number of patients vaccinated and boostered who got covid.

I didn't ask that question right. I know you can get COVID. I was just wondering about symptoms but most of my friends and yes, my husband, got Omicron and the symptoms were all nasal, like a sinus infection. My test was negative and the doctor couldn't find anything but did tell me that she had had a ton of people in with GI symptoms with no cause so thinking something viral. I was feeling better until today and my nausea is back so I'm thinking my MC is wreaking havoc. I have totally cleaned up my diet, eating smaller meals, etc., so hopefully it'll be over soon! It just seems to be a never ending battle sometimes!

With omicron variant, I am aware of a few people that main symptom was GI issues (nausea, Diarrhoea, stomach cramps). these were people that do not have diagnosed IBD.

Well, for over 2 years, I have escaped the COVID virus. I'm a teacher and I'm pretty sure I've been exposed, but danged if I didn't get my 4th booster just 4 1/2 weeks ago and we left 2 weeks later to go visit my in-laws in Mississippi. We were out and about a lot and around a lot of people. Both my husband and I tested positive last night. Went to a clinic this afternoon to get Paxlovid and an inhaler. This is my first bout with it. He got it about 4 or so months ago when he flew to Mississippi. This time we drove. At any rate, anyone taken Paxlovid and what was your experience? I guess I'll soon know if it's going to upset my tummy or not. Danged virus. It just needs to go away.

Hi, Jari. I late in my response but my guess would have been that you have the virus. Most of the people I know who have been positive lately are vaxxed & boostered. I hope the symptoms don't last very long for you. Take care!
