Having a very E-motional time--just have to talk

Post by barbaranoela »

U know we have been coming here for almost nine years--
Not staying as long as we have been doing--we would spend a week or 2 visiting with Doug--before he married--

This years visit has been very different--all morning I have been shedding  here and there---
I do believe that Lou's unXpected surgery last year has Doug seeing us in a different *light*~~~~~like *hummm, parents are in that *bracket* and he being so far away makes it very hard on Doug---

As many times as I said---HOME----I am realizing that AZ. is my second HOME!!
But the hassel of packing/etc. is really pooping me out (that also  )

I think *stress* has me by the apron strings----

Carmen and Gene have added so much to our stay---
They are terrific peoples---

And I will miss all the gals @ our yoga & tai chi classes----

Tis a smaller :earth2: than we think----today I found out that one of the daughters of Lynette(yoga) lives in ROCKLAND----a town away--called THE NYACKS( a very artsy) place--and Lynette will be coming to Rockland during the summer to visit her-----
Well I gave her my number --- and then she added that her *X* lives in BROOKLYN----now U know I call that the Garden Spot of the :earth2:
Cus I was born there and blah, blah, blah!!!!

The more *mellowed* of us HAVE to remember the BROOKLYN DODGERS!!!

:yikes: here I go again *remembering*

Most of us,@ the classes, are leaving for home --so today was all the so-longs--and see ya comes December---

Well thats enuf--

Barbara,

I can feel the pain of you leaving just by reading all you are saying. It seems that you in many ways have more ties to AZ than to NY. Maybe it is time to consider more time in AZ and less time in NY. Who knows. At this point in many of our lives it is a mulling of what we need to do for ourselves and how to accomplish it to the satisfaction of everyone but still be happy with our decision.

I promise if you move to AZ I will definitely visit. and you are right, it is a small, small world.

Love you, Maggie

Yup, small, small world! I'm in your NY neck of the woods at the moment! I'm at a conference in Seacaucus. Of course I have no time to see anything but the hotel on this trip. We got in about midnight last night (boss is here with me and we were going to leave at 4...he didn't leave office until 5. THen I think we took a less than direct route once we got near the city. Leave tomorrow at about 5 when the seminar ends.

So nice to have friends and family at both NY and AZ. It must be hard.
