HAS ANYONE TRIED USING POTATO STARCH AND POMEGRANATE JUICE TO HELP THEIR MICROBIOME?
After listening to William Li in this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUSWWI2 ... 66&t=1799s
I started using potato starch (from Bob's Red Mill) and pomegranate juice concentrate (from Jarrow formulas).
I had the Entero lab tests, corrected my diet and I don't cheat, but still have slight incidences.
For two weeks now I have taken 1 TBS potato starch with 1 tsp pomegranate concentrate all mixed with water two times a day.
I have had only one incidence during this time.
Anyone else out there in colitis land trying this? If so, what do you think?

Re: POTATO STARCH & POMEGRANATE JUICE
Pomegranate organic freeze dried powder is what I am trying per a dietitian’s recommendation. Years ago I read about or tried potato starch used as an ingredient in cooking, As I recall, @ the time potato starch was only available in fairly large quantities so I stopped purchasing and using it. I never tried the two together. Interesting. Hope it continues to work for you. For me, I can eat only honry gold or sweet potatos. I react adversely to other types.

I'd like to thank the original poster for this idea. On a whim, I tried this. Started with 1 TBS potato starch and the pomegranate concentrate once a day. I've been doing this for 2 weeks and it has really helped. Solid BM daily with lower frequency. There is a lot of information online about potato startch being a prebiotic and really helping the gut biome. Who knew? I'm 7 years into this and will continue to keep my diet under control and my supplement schedule up and with this added-wow!
