Budesonide

Post by dmwargas »

My doctor started me on one capsule of Budesonide for 2 weeks. Day 3 and my diarrhea seems to be worse. Anyone else experience this?

Hi,

Welcome to the group. I have no idea what's wrong with your doctor, but one capsule per day is probably just making it mad. All budesonide treatments for MC (or any IBD for that matter), should begin with the full dose of three capsules per day, taken all at the same time, first thing in the morning.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
