NMN

Post by Pebbledash »

Hi all,

It's been a while. I thought I would leave this here. By chance, I have been taking NMN (Double Wood brand, 250 mg per day) for a few weeks, for general health reasons, but I also came across this study on mice:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36105890/

Early days, of course. I'll report back any improvements.

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks for the link, Paul. I hope you're doing well these days.

I have nothing to complain about, either. Thanks.

Any time I come on here vaguely triumphant, MC leaves me humbled with my tail between legs. Again and again.

I soiled my bed without even knowing it until I got out of bed.

I despise this condition.

Next stage? I don't know. Mesalamine?

Sorry that happened. I don't remember whether budesonide works for you, or not, but in a situation such as this, a small maintenance dose of budesonide is usually the best solution. Doses in the range of one capsule per day, or every other day, or every third day, etc. rarely cause any significant long-term health issues, and they're usually able to preempt unfortunate situations such as this.

If you use budesonide to regain remission, you'll almost surely have to start with a full dose, and go through the full tapering process to get to your maintenance dose, at least most of us do.
