Dear all,
I have Lc since 2010 and I am in remission since I did the elimination diet in 2016, what took about one year.
I think I know all of my triggers, but very often I get problems with my joints, what is a sign I ate something wrong, but I don't manage to find out what it is exactly.
I was treated for helicobacter pylori two times, but kept my reflux problems. Recently I discontinued my daily white wine and I eat early, what helps against my reflux. But I still have problems with my voice (since some months) and I want that to disappear, because I am a singer in two choirs.
And I got skin rash, what seems to disappear after antihistamin tablets. So I conclude that this skin problem is caused by an allergic reaction, but don't know the cause.
when I still drunk whine, I blamed that most of the time when I had a joint problem, but now I am 'clean' and still have joints problems, which comes and goes.
I wonder if all this things are related to my LC, I think so. (The good news is that the WD disappeared.)
I have now to decide: should I go back to a very limited diet again and reintroduce foods again or is it a good idea to order a Enterolab testing and know for once and always my triggers?
And I wonder: if I test high on something is it possible that I can eat (try it again) this food in the future? Because I also feel the need to try some things again, like coffee.
I would like to hear your opinion. Maybe there were people in the same situation like me and decided to test and was this helpful?
One other thing: I still are om HRT and I am thinking about discontinuing this. My doctor wants this and will help me with a homeopathic medicine. Maybe this hormons prevent me to go really in remission. What do you think?
Thank you
Sonja
Is it useful for me to test at Enterolab?

Re: Is it useful for me to test at Enterolab?
Here's what happened to me: at first my EnteroLab test results showed that I was not sensitive to soy, but after seven or eight years, I began to react to peanuts, so I ordered another EnteroLab test. The results showed that I was now sensitive to soy.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thank you Tex.
Maybe that means that there is always a possibility to develop new intolerances in the future. I wonder if testing now, will help me really further.
