ELECTROLYTES

Post by Jessica »

Electrolytes are stressed as very important. Sports drinks have a lot of sugar and other drinks offering electrolytes have artificial sweeteners. Can you please suggest a good source of electrolytes. Many thanks

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Tex - Do you think baking soda in water could aid with my nausea?
I remember my mother giving me this and/or Canada Dry.
Got your book and diving into it.

If excess acid is causing the problem, then baking soda might help, but as far as I'm aware, excess stomach acid is not usually the cause of most nausea problems. Maybe someone else has some insight on that.

I found that salt helped with nausea (MC safe potato chips or mashed veggies with salt)

Thank you so much - SALT ... May explain why I feel less nausea every time I eat (always with salt)
