A way to cool off

The temps say it's 85 here....I could smell Buck and Jasmine soooo.....I bathed them and now they are running and chasing each other. Made em' feel pretty good.
The finches are having a ball with the bied feeder and so are the red cardinal males.
I was holding off turning on the A/C as there is a nice breeze going and all the windows are open. NO cooking tho. It's left overs tonight. Tha way only the microwave gets heated up :dancingpenguins: I have to say I am happy to be going back to work...hard to beleive that when we work, most of us think of ways to get out of it, then when we are OUT of it we want back in :Itchscratch: Sooooo, I am thankful to have a job again.
Mike sprayed the dog yard with stuff that is not harmful once it drys (yesterday) and the rest of the area for ticks, A while back I said something about ticks and Tex asked if I had fire ants in my part of the country :ciao: only a few up close to the house. Fire ants eat ticks....anyway just after I said no we had very few....a hugh bed of fire ants appeared in the dog yard. Soooooo Mike put stuff on them to make them move...short of pouring gas on them and setting them on fire, I don't think you can kill them. If anyone has a way, let me know. I am allergic. :banned: But it's a quiet normal Sunday. Mike is builing a fire box for his BBQ pit out of scrap Iron he has. Love Oma

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day - I can't wait until the weather turns to true Spring and then Summer here in my neck of the woods!

We had to change our clocks one hour ahead this weekend so we will have light longer into the evening. Glad about that. It will still be dark in the morning going to work for a while yet, but not much longer.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

I CAN wait for summer to be here. It gets so hot here in West Texas. Tex can attest to that. It's 7:39p and 83 deg, But summer in west Texas is almost better than summer in Az. Love Oma
