MAGNESEUM

Post by Jessica »

I've been taking 3 Magnesium per day, as Tex recommended it may help with my nausea. It has helped.

I had been taking Niacin, and stopped that thinking it might be the culprit ... Between discontinuing Niacin and taking Magnesium & Vitamin D3 the nausea is greatly reduced. However I believe the D is more frequent and uncontrolled than ever.

My question is what type of Topical Magnesium is recommended, and is it as effective as supplements? I found one this morning that helps with sleep as well (another issue) - Cymbiotika is the brand

Can you please recommend a good TOPICAL MAGNESIUM

Hi Jessica,
I used both of these products the first year after diagnosis, as I was unable to tolerate oral magnesium.
Now, i am able to take it orally and take Doctor's Best Glycinate.
Hope this helps you!
Jen

Hi Jennifer - I ordered both of the magnesium products you suggested. Was there any special way you applied these, before bed or after bathing
- I've received the Ancient Minerals, and directions just say all over the body

after showers are good whilst pores are open

when I was first trying to fix magnesium deficiency I had the lotion by the toilet and put it on the top of my legs and stomach every time I went to the toilet

I have some in a small spray bottle at work, and spray my neck/shoulders when I have been sitting at the computer for too long!

Hi Jessica
When i was first diagnosed i used it frequently during the day.
When i woke up i would rub a little on my arms and legs.
Then Gabes advised me to rub a little on my thighs every time i used the restroom.
Before bed i rubbed a little on my arms, neck and ahoulders.

It takes time to increase your level, but with patience you will eventually notice little changes.

It took me 2 years on a very bland and stict diet to achieve enough gut healing to tolerate oral magnesium.

Received the Ancient and cut Magnesium down to 100 mg, so not feeling as nauseous. Wonderful side effect has been 2 nights of sleep with this lotion.
Thank you so much for this guidance.

Great news and that your body is responding so quickly.
Good sleep is a key part of healing.

this is also a listen to your body lesson
anytime I get headache or muscle ache I know my body is wanting extra magnesium
down the track as we feel better it is common to not do the topical magnesium as much

keep note that the oral magnesium is not agreeing with you.
it might be the brand or it might be the combo of where you are at healing wise at the moment

this is also the hard part of MC world - finding what works for you.
each person has to fine tune various aspects (diet, lifestyle, supplements) to set up their MC management plan.

Happy Healing
