I'm not sure I understand what you mean by messages, (what kind of messages), and when you say "personal mailbox", I assume you mean email, rather than private messages, (PMs).
Email can be slow, at times, so if you are referring to email notifications about responses to your posts on the board, they may be just arriving today, from yesterday's posts, ( I didn't deselect that profile option for you until last night, if I renember correctly, and your email server may have just been catching up during the day, today. Email is not always lightening fast, though most folks tend to think if it as instantaneous.
Also, you had the Notify on new Private Message, option selected, which tells the system to send you an email, whenever someone sends you a PM. Is that what you're referring to? I just now turned that one off for you. If it's not what you are referring to, and you want that option turned back on again, let me know, and I'll turn it back on, or you can do that in your profile.
If neither of these possibilities is what you are referring to, I'll need a hint on what the messages are about.
