Cholesterol
I was reading that cholesterol in the body helps fight inflammation. Just curious if those of us with chronic inflammation also have naturally high cholesterol. I hope the way I phrased this poll makes sense. Let me know if not!
Re: Cholesterol
I can't chose one of those categories, but I am in remission and had high cholesterol. I cut down on my potato chip consumption & amped up my daily walks & I lowered it. I'm due for my annual bloodwork soon so we'll see if I have maintained my numbers. I am a stress eater and was hitting the potato chips again so hopefully I haven't done too much damage. My mother's side has a history of high cholesterol. Her sister recently reduced her #'s drastically by taking milk thistle. As most Dr.'s won't tell you, we need cholesterol for our brains.

Re: Cholesterol
And our bodies use cholesterol to form vitamin D from sunlight when our skin is exposed to ultraviolet-B rays, as I recall.
