Not sure why your Walgreens there in TN is unable to specifically get Epic for you. I’m in Arizona, maybe that’s the difference? In the past I’ve had to switch back and forth with pharmacies to get the Sandoz brand....

I don’t think Cholestyramine comes in pill form. I’ve heard a few of the other bile acid binders DO come as pills....which would make my life much easier! But then I’ve read that many of those folks taking the pills didn’t think they worked too well. I’m in the planning stages of a trip to Sweden this summer...and the amount of cholestyramine I have to take (plus a few days extra in case travel plans go wonky) just is nuts...plus it has to go in my carry on.

I finally ran out of Sandoz. I went to CVS and they said yes they had it. I go back to pick up the prescription, did not check it, came home and for two days I took something from India. I had diarrhea so bad. I was so sick. I called Epic Pharma. They were so nice. I found out Walgreens here carries Epic. I picked it up this morning. The package looks exactly like the Sandoz. I was so happy.

If you are having trouble finding the Epic, the number is 888-374-2791 ext 701 to get help finding it.

I also wanted to mention that the website “thisisgoodmedicine.com carries the top of the line supplements. Two functional medicine doctors in Colorado own the website. I have found Pure Encapsulations carries liquid magnesium glycinate, B12, B vitamins, C and zinc. Liquid works much better for me. I also take liquid dry eye rescue for my Omega 3.

They are expensive but they give you points for purchasing and points for writing reviews. It makes the cost be very reasonable. They are so nice and helpful.

This is 19 years dealing with this. Everything changed at Christmas, 2012 when I found Tex book. I just gave one another away this morning. I am thankful for how far I am now with this. My bloodwork is perfect and my osteoporosis has reversed to osteopenia in my back and almost there in my leg.
