Dear all,
Good news! The last few years I have been fallen on the street for several times and I was always glad nothing had broken! I live in the center of Amsterdam and the fast riding electric bikes are a real problem here.
Last week I had an accident on my bike because I was hit by a person on a very fast driving bike and came with my head on the ground, very hard. My elbow also was hit badly. The ambulance came: I had nothing serious and nothing broken! Again.
A friend of my said: that is because your daily bone broth !
I think she could be right. I also swim and walk a lot, but I am 72 and I notice by all kind of things that things are really less easy than before my 70th.
A question about bone broth:
In the summer I am often out of the city without refrigerator. Than I can't drink bone broth, only one day.
I know for my intestines it is better to take it daily, but because of all the benefits of bone broth:
Will it make a big difference to drink it once in a while, for instance once a week? What do you think?

Re: good news about bonebroth
Hello Sonja,
I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt in that accident. I wouldn't have much of a chance in all that bike traffic. Fortunately, I live out in the country, where the only bike traffic is my own.
It's probably better to have some bone broth every day, but we can only do what our schedule allows us to do. I doubt that skipping a few days now and then will make a noticeable amount of difference. The main benefit of bone broth is to help healing, and once we are healthy, bone broth probably still helps, but it shouldn't be necessary to have some every day. But that's just my opinion, of course.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thank you, Tex.
