Collagenous Colitis

Post by sketels »

Hello, I am new to this forum and fairly new to Collagenous Colitis. My first topic and question would be... Does anyone else have even mild flares that cause weakness and mild dizziness?? I am currently having something going on that is really messing with my head. Glad to be a part of this Forum and can't wait to correspond with the group. Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to the group. This disease is associated with fatigue and mind fog, and I can recall more than a few mornings when I experienced dizzy spells, and sometimes migraines, when I was reacting. But if this is happening with a mild flare, it's also possible that you might have picked up some sort of intestinal virus, because there are usually a few of those going around.

Again, welcome aboard, and I hope you can find your solutions here.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thanks Tex. I recently did catch a flu or something. I also am still working on my diet plan so it might of been something I ate. Thanks for the feedback.
