Just got diagnosed with microscopic colitis, would love to hear how others have dealt with it

Hiya everyone! So after almost 2 months of going back and forth with doctors I have been diagnosed with microscopic colitis.

Although there is a lot of websites that allow me to read about the condition there isn’t a lot of personal stories from people who have dealt with it themselves and I would love to hear people’s stories!

Also I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask regarding this:

Would it be considered to be an autoimmune disease?

Depending on severity of this, could it be considered to be a disability?

Yes, if you're a U.S. citizen, the Americans With Disabilities Act, As Amended, qualifies microscopic colitis as a disability. In most cases, the initial application is automatically turned down.
