Need Your Thoughts

Post by Polly »

Good evening!

Here's what I would like to do. For the info in the newbie room, I would like the "author" of those documents to be "consensus" or "founding members" rather than my name. Wayne knows of a way he can help me do this. Does everyone agree? It would be much more accurate, because, after all, everyone here has had the opportunity to review and make revisions on each document. They really have been developed by group process.

Love,

Polly

P.S. I think it would be fun to have a short paragraph titled "About Us" in the newbie room......that explains how we came to be founding members and what our hopes are for this website. I'd be happy to take a stab at it -what do you think?

Love,

Polly

Welcome back Polly Wolly!

To coin a phrase "WHATEVER"

Just kidding! No opinion since I didn't help write them! The right decision will be reached! No worries!

PS - you have a LOT of reading to catch up on! LOL

Thanks for the welcome back, Mars Bar!

But you did review them, so I consider you an author, too!

Another thought.......we need to start working on the FAQs of MC. I was wondering if you and Babci might be interested in working on them? Anyone else? I'll be happy to help, too. We could start a thread asking folks to list the questions that they think should be addressed.

Love,

Polly

Hey Polly

Welcome back. Missed you & hope you had a wonderful time. Would be happy to take a shot @ questions but remember I'm a newbie   I feel like you should get most of the credit with the rest of the folks as contributors. You really did do most of the work & I did the least. Love & light, Rita

Hi Babci!

It's good to be back! I think your newbie status is a definite advantage as we develop questions! I wonder if Marsha would like to help with the FAQs too. She has been uncovering all kinds of fascinating info lately!

I agree. New members always ask the most insightful questions. I don't remember what I would have asked at the start as I have come upon answers by chance and persistence.

I like the consensus idea in that it makes a group statement. Maybe a "compiled by Polly” might be appropriate.

As far as Marcia’s research goes we may need to create a room just for her. Thanks Marsha."

I say we call it The Studio, like when I had a pottery room. Just joking. I want to say formally, when I start bugging you all, just tell me to back off. :pcguru:
And I'd love to help with things, but I'm a terrible writer. I'm a good proofreader, though. Another thing is that I'm checking out for a couple weeks beginning tomorrow. We're making the summer move up to WA, and probably won't be back on the computer until about the 25th. I don't know what I'll do away from you all. I'm a little addicted my husband says. Maybe I'll have to give him instructions on how to put B12 under my tongue when I go unconscious and start convulsing.

I can't tell you how happy I am that my little "Eureka" moment might help somebody else. I would love to think that keeping a low sulphite level would help with not only skin & headache issues, but also bring Norman around more often. I love Norman . . .

Hi Polly and welcome home! I'm perfectly happy with your name on the articles as author. I know others contributed but you put it all together. I don't particularly like the term "consensus" as, to me, it seems too vague.

If you really want to list the "founding members" why not just add a new post to the "newbie" room and list the founders?

Nice to have you back!

Welcome home Polly and Carrie has a good idea there.

I am a pretty good writer - terrible proof reader - but time is not on my side right now doing double duty at work.

You know best.

Love, Maggie
