Travel to Australia or New Zealand

Post by cloud9er »

Hello,

I’ve been researching equivalent processed products for when I travel to New Zealand soon. I usually avoid processed food with the exception of breakfast cereal, but sometimes for travel we need to make things easier on ourselves.

I wonder if it would help other people travelling if the people who live there advise on products that have limited ingredients that are sold in the supermarkets.

I have found the following brands for New Zealand, some of them are aussie brands:

Kellogs gluten free cornflakes
Hubbard rice bubbles
Sanitarium Weet-bix Gluten Free

Pureharvest Coconut Milk Coco Quench
Raglan coconut natural greek style yogurt
Isola Bio Almond Milk No Sugar
Pureharvest Almond Milk Unsweetened
Macro Organic Almond Milk Unsweetened
Mylk Made Coconut Mylk Base

Bell Original Decaf Black Tea Bags
Dilmah Natural Decaf Black Tea Bags Premium Ceylon Tea.

I will create a topic for UK foods that I eat and are found either in supermarkets or perhaps on Amazon.

Kind Regards,

Amy

In Australia there is 'health food isles' in Woolworths and Coles, in these isles are products made by companies that only do gluten free products etc
My mother has used the Kellogg gluten free cornflakes no issues

for product to be 'Gluten Free' in Australia it can only have 5 parts per million of gluten. The labelling laws are strict here so companies are diligent

the Macro brand (from Woolworths) is very reliable - I use it for other products, no recalls or issues in the 10 plus years it has been around.
