Safe Sugar?

Post by LJL547! »

Greetings Friends,
I have been on Budesonide for 3 days, and gotten a lot of good info from this Forum. Today I added some fatty meat and apple into my diet, thanks to a suggestion by Gabes. I have been feeling dizzy lately, and have ruled out dehydration and low sodium. It feels like low blood sugar, or may low blood pressure. I have lost 20 pounds. I will check with my primary care doctor on Monday to see about a blood test, but in the meantime does anyone have any suggestions for safe sugar? Cooked fruit? More apple?

Thanks!
Lisa

Maple sugar was the only type of sugar that I could eat in any significant amount when I was reacting. In the past, others here have mentioned dates as a good source. I believe some members use honey.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
