Bridal Shower..........

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,

This Sunday is Trisha's shower - time is sneaking up on us pretty darn fast! (June 24th). I finally found the "personal", special gift I've been looking for.

I found a 4 x 6 music box, lined in black satin with a sentiment on the top. It plays "You light up my life". Here is the saying............

Dearest Daughter
I'm so proud of you
You're a blessing
From God above
You're a precious Daughter
And Friend
You have filled my life
With Love

My heart is bursting with love for this child who is about to take the next step in her life's journey with a man we truly love.

Ok, enough mush - Stressed??????????? Me?????????????? Never!

Love,
Mars

It's beautiful and so is the sentiment. I like Mush! I hope it's a great shower and she's so happy she can't stand it. Love Oma

I'm wishing all my best for all of you......

Shirley,

I bought the music box at Dutch Heritage, an Amish based restaurant. They have the most wonderful gift shop filled with out-of-the-ordinary gifts. They had many different sentiments and music but this one caught my attention.

Now, for finding something for a wedding gift...................probably going to be $$$$$$. I'm fresh out of ideas! LOL

Thanks Mars,
I don't believe I've ever seen one of those restaurants. I'll have to investigate.

Shirley,

It used to be called the Der Dutchman. Sorry, should have said that in the earlier post!

 Thanks again, Mars. I did look it up and the closest one to me is in Sarasota, Fl. Don't know if I'll ever make it there or not. Who can predict......
