Something is not right

Post by celia »

Hi All,

I am now getting an upset stomach/pain every time I eat, about an hour later, and I also wake up with it in the middle of the night. Gastritis, I guess. I thought I was developing more food intolerances when I first came back from vacation, because everything I ate seemed to bring on symptoms. But then the gastritis kicked in (it's been awhile now) so something else must be going on. I feel really sick a lot. I have an appt. to see my GP this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Hi Celia,

From your description of your symptoms, I'm guessing that you may simply be short on hydrochloric acid, but see what your doc says, this afternoon.

I would suggest that you ask him/her to check for stomach acid sufficiency.
