Back home again
Hello everyone
Well we are back in Australia after an all too short visit to New Zealand. The time went so fast that we seemed to almost be home before we had arrived.
It was great to see the Judy, Balan & the kids again but it is all the harder to leave them. We miss them so much. Anisha made a beautiful 'Welcome' card for us & another 'Goodbye' one the night before we left. She could hardly keep her little eyes open but was determined to do it. She is a delightful child.
We spent a couple of days at Picton right up in the north of the south island. Beautiful place. Would have liked to stay longer but did not want to stay away from the family any longer.

Only problem that I had while away was that I got infected sinus & Balan wrote me a script for antibiotics which had the usual effect but I have finished them now & things have settled down a bit.
Love

Welcome Back
Hi Liz:
Lucky you - I've heard New Zealand is very pretty. Looks like it from your pictures.
Well, we're going to see a pretty part of Oregon in May - the Oregon Coast. Peggy and Ronny went there on their honeymoon and said it's beautiful. We're just getting away for three days, but looking forward to it. It's good to take a break and just relax.
Sounds like you enjoyed visiting your family.

Do something nice for you today
Welcome back, Liz,
I'm glad to see that your trip went so well, (except for the sinus infection part). I guess it's handy to have a son-in-law who can write prescriptions. That saved you some time.
I've read that there's a lot of red deer farming in NZ--that's some beautiful scenery, isn't it.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

And our friends, which I told U about, that were to make the trip across the pond----doing the RV caravan tour---have cancelled--
I think its cus they bought a newer RV and more $$$$ than Xpected but I hear it is something to see---I cant wait till they get home--
Sometimes I often wonder if I could travel like they do(RV wise)its something to get used to---

Thanks for the warm welcome home people. Just come on down Peg. I will be your guide. Barb, you can come too. Sorry that your friends are not coming out now. Was looking forward to meeting them. I would love to show all of you around if anyone manages to get down this way.
New Zealand is a really beautiful country. Very mountainous. The snowy alps are often popping up in the background which makes a photo more dramatic. Wayne, There are more sheep in New Zealand than people but Deer farming is pretty big as well. There are many wine growing regions, especially around Blenheim, which is about 30 ks south of Picton. We Went into one & had a couple of samples & bought a very nice bottle to have that night. There were also olive groves & I bought a bottle of avocado olive oil to bring home. It is lovely used as a dressing on salad or you can use it for dipping. Yum. Picked up some nice fabrics at "The Quilters Barn" near the winery & we also sampled hand made chocolates in the area too. They were delicious but I resisted the temptation to buy, especially as they were very expensive & I didn't want to get too far away from my food plan.
Thought my ports would be a lot lighter coming home after unloading all the gifts that I had taken over for family. No such luck. Finished up about the same.
