A strange xperience from YOGA??? If U'd like to read

Post by barbaranoela »

I went to my first new class here @ home--

It was for an hour and 1/2----the instructor is amazing and she had her training in India---
Her name is Joythi Vastare----first name pronounced Jo-Te

Now---this class was intense---most of the moves I knew from AZ. BUT she also threw in some other moves---which the class has been doing--

Now I have positional vertigo---so I know how far I can bend etc.

I was able to perform her format---but when I got home I was awfully sick---head annoyances--feeling *not here*--and a nauseated feeling??

Was thinking that perhaps my ability to do more head movements with the movements might have caused some of these issues OR did it in some manner INCREASE my BLOOD FLOW thru my body--
Very weird and a bit scarey---

I felt perfectly fine during the session!!!!
THEN I wondered if I didnt HYDRATE myself enuf during/after---but there is NO sweating doing this~~~
No-one there did any water drinking-----as we did in AZ>

Or perhaps I did more than what we did in AZ.?

The best was the end----relaxed----visualizating myself in the perfect calm place that I can go to-----and didnt want to leave -

A very interesting event---

Pouring rain here today-----so it was a good day to get out for Yoga!!!

Hope U all had a good weekend
Namaste~~~

Barbara....Yoga does help circulation. It helps balance and alot of other things. You might have done too much with the head movements, but then you may still be re-adjusting to home. AZ is a whole nuther world as you know. I experienced some dizziness when we returned from AZ after a full year there. Hope you aren't feeling nauseated for long. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

I'll feel a bit of that "not there" feeling when I've had a good workout and if you were adapting to a new routine, you probably worked harder than anyone else there! I hope that feeling has cleared up for you. Hydration could be part of it too. I know I'm having to force myself to drink more right now because the weather is warmer, but not so warm that you notice you ought to be drinking more.

Anyways, good for you for gettng out there and doing it!
