Hi Sis!
I was in your neck of the woods again yesterday. We took the bus to N.Y. for the day. WOW - it was something walking around the streets in that torrential rain. But fun! We went to Yankee stadium in the afternoon, on the subway, when the rain stopped to see the Orioles play the Yankees (they lost 7-1). We LOVED the stadium - it seemed so old fashioned and small-scale - much more like baseball back in the good old days. A great day! Next time, for sure, I'll have to let you know ahead and we can meet somewhere.

Polly-----too bad U didnt tell us-----although I had a rotten time after my new Yoga class--
Yes, the next time let me know and we can meet-----the only time I get to the city is to see GI.---
and thats not the most thrilling of dayz---
Rain or shine---the city is wonderful--

PS. yup---nothing like the old dayz of baseball---Naturally,I was a BROOKLYN DODGER FAN---
And my friend Ted,from VA., is a die hard fan of baseball----2 years back he went to Florida for a week and actually played with some of the old timers--I have a pic. of Ted with Duke Snyder and does he ever look terrific for 75--guess now 77
It ran Ted--megga $$$$'s but U get the entire uniform and play with the old timers---he was *blissed*--live with the players and actually feel like one of the players~~~
Was well worth the $$$$ for the week
