Terps!

Post by Polly »

Hi Andrew!

Have you had your honeymoon yet now that tax season is over? If not, have a terrific time! Take some photos to share with us if you feel like it -we love to see vacation spots!

How about your diet? Have you been easing into it or still waiting until after the honeymoon? Your proposed plan looked fine to me! Even if you should have some other intolerances, just eliminating gluten and dairy should take you a long way toward recovery. They seem to be the 2 most wicked ones. But let's hope that eliminating those two will be all that's needed.

Cheers!

Polly

Hey Polly-

We leave for the honeymoon in 11 days! I am sure we will take lots of pictures. If you want I can post our wedding pictures as well (I will have to locate the website for that).

I have been slightly easing into the diet. PRacticing making rice flour bread, not eating bagels every mornng for breakfast. But I am still keeping a fair amount of gluten in my diet so that I will not react in Mexico if I have gluten. I have mainly cut out dairy tho because it has always done a number on me even the lactose free kind (figures because I have an intolerance to casien)!

Yeah I really hope that I dont have anymore intolerances. I have a bit of trouble eating regular chocolate now but that might be because it is too harsh for me now.
Dr Fine test shows positive for gluten and casien but negative for soy, eggs, and yeast
Maybe its UC maybe its MC? Who knows at this point, but at least I know my intollerances now... so heres to the road to healing!
