Finally Here

Post by MaggieRedwings »

Hi All,

So sorry I have been among the missing but my computer at worked crashed and I got home so late each night I could just not get to the board. However, from home I am still not successful posting.

Lately the CC has been running rampid but the cholesterol got rave reviews from my doctor and she was amazed that the counts are back to normal. I will not give full credit to Lipitor but still taking it every other day. My blood pressure is starting to rise a little but still having dizzy spells. Now to get the heart, macrocytosis and CC evened out and I will be thrilled.

Love you all and miss you immensely.

Love, Maggie

Hi Maggie,

I wondered where you were. Great news on the cholesterol results.

When the doctors are giving you various medications for various problems, it's easy for things to get out of kilter. About a day after my surgery, my blood pressure suddenly rose to worrisome levels. When I asked the nurse about it, she admitted that they were adding something to my IV, to raise my BP, since they thought that it was a bit low. I don't know if my complaints helped or not, but they immediately stopped adding it, and my BP promptly went back down to normal levels. It scared the bejabbers out of me at the time, though.

I hope you can continue to make headway at resolving your issues.

Love,
Wayne

Miss you, too, Mags! It's always great to *see* you. My CC is out of control, too, so I sympathize greatly.

Be well my friend.

Love
Peg

Hi Maggie!

So good to see you! And good news about your cholesterol! You and I should trade BP readings - yours is too low and mine's too high.

How's the fatigue issue? I guess low BP would make you tired.
I'll hope for more good news in the upcoming days. Miss you much.

Alice

 Hi Maggie,

So sorry you are still having problems but as least some things are improving. Keep working on it and I believe you'll conquer them in the end.

Try to keep your spirits up in the meantime.

We miss you.

Hi Maggie,

Nice to have your back! When I had low blood pressure, I used salt (celtic sea salt, not regular table salt) and my problems with dizziness on rising stopped. It's recommended for adrenal fatigue by Dr. Wilson. Don't know if this applies to you, but thought I would pass it along. You would have to take your other conditions in to consideration of course.

Sounds like you are making good headway. :cheerleader: :cheerleader: Good luck with the other stuff! Celia
