On the drive home it rained on us so hard that I could barely see with the wipers going full speed.......and all we showed for all that was a TRACE! The dirt road to my front door wasn't even wet. Dang! The usda said to go ahead and olant the Quail CRP. So the guy that uses our fields to plant hay grazer sprayed for Johnson grass and will plant the seeds as soon as the seed comes in at the USDA office.
Anyway....I wondered If any of you got rain anywhere?
Well got to get clothes ready for work tomorrow. Then to bed.
Love to all Oma

Rain
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Oma,
Don't you hate that?! I work about 30 miles away from my house (east of Amarillo). Sometimes it will be raining cats and dogs at the plant or on the way home - only to find all we got at the house was a few drops or a bunch of wind. Rained at our house Saturday night. I do not know how much. We might have a chance of rain over the weekend but not enough to break the drought.
Take care,
Brenda
