Anyone heard of Honey and Cinnimon?
I was at the eye doctor's today and spoke with a lady who swears by Honey and Cinnamon (made into a tea). She says in two months it helped lower her cholesterol by 60 pts, she feels better, etc. She is also a diabetic and it does not bother her.
I did a search and found an interesting article about the health benefits of this mixture. They consider it holistic medicine.
Here is the link if anyone is interest. Whatdayathink?

Carrie,
It appears that to lower cholesteral is the only receipe using tea: "Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water".
Hope that helps!

I was just researching this....my doc said I may be "insulin resistant". I found that cinnamon is awesome for this. I was going to purchase some caps that they fill fresh on the web. This sounds much better and less expensive too. I buy the bulk cinnamon at Costco!
I have made me a cup! I will let you know how it tastes!
Thanks!
Lori
