Mrs. Columbo,
I'm guessing that you are referring to a "router". A router handles the switching between networked computers. I don't understand why it won't work for one of your computers, though, unless you're using a wireless router, (which doesn't sound right, since you have wires running all over the place). You may just need a new network card for the computer. There's more than one way to skin a cat, when it comes to networking computers. I definitely prefer wired networks over wireless networks, though, because of the risk of "drive-by" hackers, with wireless networks.
Concerning the "call waiting" feature: unless you also have voice mail available with your phone account, whoever called while you were already talking, will just have to call back later, if you didn't take the call.
Hay is pretty expensive right now, (at least it is in Texas, because of last summer's drought), a large round bale, (roughly a ton of hay), will bring close to $100, (it normally sells for about $30 to $40). Farriers, (the folks who shoe horses), earn a pretty decent living these days, since all the "rhinestone cowboys", and wannabe cowgirls, and other horse fanciers, can afford to pay much better than working cowboys, for services like that. It seems that everybody wants to move out to the country, buy about ten acres of land, and 2 or 3 horses, and become a weekend cowboy. Some of the equine fans around here, own horse trailers that sell for $75,000 to $100,000. I just shake my head and grin, when they drive by. LOL.
I hope your visits to the doctors and therapists go smoothly.
Luv,
Galahad

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Shirley,
Those high-dollar trailers have built in deluxe living quarters with central heat and air, and all the travel-trailer luxuries that money can buy. The horses' section of the trailer is downright posh, also.
Of course, you can't pull a trailer like that with an ordinary, everyday working pickup. Nope--you have to have at least a tricked out diesel dooley with all the options, and quite a few custom features to boot, with a price tag in the $50,000 range.
