I Found The Problem With the Profile Files

Post by tex »

It was with a modification that I made on Friday, in order to make it a little tougher for spambots to register. Now I've got to figure out a way to either make it work, or trash it, before I try to re-install the other two features that I added after that.

I may just discard it, since the second mod that I added was to prevent anyone from adding a website to their profile at registration, which should effectively cull out most spambots. Any member will still be able to ad a website to their profile, but only after registration is completed, (not during registration).

Anyway, I'll take another stab at re-installing this stuff, as time permits. I thought the weather information was kind of handy to have. It was working fine for me, but I can access my profile through the admin panel, which bypasses the regular profile--otherwise I would have been aware of the problem.

Thanks for your help, and your patience.

Love,
Wayne

Ok, I've got all three of the mods re-installed, and they seem to be working correctly. Please let me know if you find anything that is not working as it should.

Thanks,
Tex
