Book: The Omnivore's Dilemma - Michael Pollan

Post by moremuscle »

I heard part of a show on Public Radio last week; an interview with the author of a new book: The Omnivore's Dilemma. Michael Pollan has written about corn and the way it has found it's way into most processed foods that are available in the grocery stores - this is what caught my attention. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to listen to the entire show as I was commuting and getting out of the car. However, I think the book is about much more than that - also touching on the subject of organic food versus non-organic. Here is a link to a review of the book - perhaps someone savvy can find a link to the actual NPR show?

After a little more search I found a link to the NPR show from April 17/2006:

LOL!!! The above is not a link to the right show!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry.
I think the following link is right, try it - you can listen to the show by clicking on one button; this is a VEEERRRY interesting show:

Hi Karen, and anyone else interested in this book,

I ordered it from our library system, and should get it in a couple days. So I imagine it is in other library systems around the US.

Love, Marsha
