Not Feeling so good?

Post by barbaranoela »

I felt fine when waking---but now I have the shakes---and of all crappy things --total watery runs???? and funny but the past few dayz--I told Lou I kinda felt a bit *loopy* and knowing ME---Im going to work myself into an ANXIETY attack---which I havent had a a very looooooooong time--
To be honest---I dont think I am as brave as I am telling myself---

I AM SCARED TO DEATH ABOUT THE RESULTS of the *thyroid* biopsy--
I really wish he hadnt said,* if it be *C* then we take the entire thyroid out~~~Perhaps(subconsciously) Spelling!!! it is working *inside of me*
And whats a low grade temp. mean??? 96.8????

U know I am so sick of this up and down crap---

Suppose to go for PT but not the way I am feeling

And now I cant *keep a smile*

Scared,
Barbara

Oh Barb,
I'm sorry. Try not to be worried - having a low temp just means that your thyroid isn't putting out enough stuff. Having an underfunctioning thyroid does that. I take supplimental thyroid every day because of it.
But I understand how you're feeling. Just a short time until you'll hear back from the doctor. Can you get out and shop, or do something to take your mind off it for a while? Do you have anything to hit? That helps me,
Love, Marsha

FLOATERS

Post by barbaranoela »

I just went and looked @ some old post!!!!!

One keeps learning-----

About 10 years back I thought I had a *wisp* of hair floating in front of my eye---trying to *wisp* it away--I couldnt---then I saw these BLACK SPOTS---and then flashes of white light on the side of the eye--

On the phone----went to an optomologist---diagnosed *floaters* and yes it is the fluid pulling away from the retina!!!!

He said sometimes they loosen and just drop and disappear!!!

For me its good to re-read these things cus then I dont feel so *anxious* and also hearing about how common this *thyroid* is---
Heck, might as well throw in psoriasis too---which is now gone due to the meds. my Derma. gave me---
Thinking----this Psoriasis--erupted waaaaaaay back!!!

Got 1/2 a smile now

Barbara,

Did your doc say "low grade temperature", or "low grade fever"? "Low grade temperature" would seem to imply a low grade fever, which would be a fever of only a degree or two. If he meant to imply a temperature lower than normal, the addition of the word "grade" made it rather confusing.

However, all that said, if you have hypothyroidism, you could indeed have a lower than normal temperature, as Marsha said.

Oh Barbara, I'm with you today! All these new diseases creeping up on us is just too frustrating and overwhelming! At least for me, today!

I know everything happens for a reason, and there are many lessons to learn from all this. But today I just feel "ugh" about it all.

Having said that, the thyroid thing is very common...so not to worry!

By the way, there is a syndrome refered to as Wilson's Low Temperature Syndrome that is correctable. It is controversial and most conventional doctor's don't beleive in it. Of course, I always bring up the controversial things, don't I! Somehow I missed the thread of how this came up in the first place for you so this might not relate to you. In my husband's case he has low T3 and none of the conventional doctors would treat him. So he has been doing the Wilson's Therapy. But this might not apply at all in your situation. But it's interesting to see all the effects that low body temperature can have on you.

Hi Twinnie

Sorry you are not feeling so good. All of the stress you have been under lately could very well be effecting you in all sorts of ways, including the big D. In fact it is a wonder it hasn't caught up with you before this. with all the worry over Kait etc.

I wonder about the doctor suggesting C to you before your tests. Perhaps it would have been better to just wait & see the results instead of upsetting you & making you worry so much.

I am keeping my fingers (and everything else) crossed for you.

Keep you chin up Barb.

Lots of love & hugs from your friend across the big, big pond.

Ps

This little angel is going to watch over you & make sure you will be Ok.
