Dr. Fine's Research Report, Presented on March 4, 2006

Post by tex »

Clan Thompson has an excellent summary on his web site, of Dr. Fine's principal lecture, which was presented at this confence, covering the latest research, as of the date of the conference, (March 3-5, 2006), concerning food intolerances, and especially gluten sensitivity. The title of his lecture was "Early Diagnosis of Gluten Sensitivity Using Fecal Testing: Report of an 8-Year Study".

Here's the link:

This is state of the art information, as far as diagnosis and treatment of gluten sensitivity is concerned, and it is vital information for those with celiac disease, and microscopic colitis.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hmmmmm. You're right--it's no longer available. They may have removed it because they no longer consider it to be news, or Dr. Fine might have asked Clan Thompson to remove it from his site.

They originally planned to sell DVDs of the program, and instructions on how to order those were described on Clan Thompson's site. I scanned Dr. Fines site just now, but I didn't find anything on how to order DVDs, or even any information as to whether they are even available. I'll look around and see if I can find out anything.

Love,
Wayne

Ok, I've updated the link in the first post, to the current location of that information, so that the link works correctly now.

Information on how to purchase a DVD of the program is included with the news release cited in that link. I haven't checked to see if the DVDs are actually available, but I would assume that an email to Dr. Fine's lab would provide an answer to that question. The email address is:
