It's all bad

Post by Liz »

Just when I was troddling along Ok without tooo many problems the wheels have fallen off again. Spent ALL of Sunday night on the loo & have not gotten too far away from it in the last 2 days. This is the worst it has been for a long time. Lots of pain as well. Could not eat anything all day yesterday & had very little today. Good for the weight I suppose. Have been taking 'Gastrolite' several times a day. I was so dehydrated, even though I have kept drinking as much water as possible that my legs were in a sort of permanent cramp & so painful as well. Lost so much fluid that my weight went down half a stone.

Not supposed to see my doctor again until next Monday but if things don't improve I may have get back to her sooner. Don't know what she can do except give me more Entocort.

The bidet has certainly proven it's worth, I can tell you.

Love

 Ratz, Liz!!!

I'm surely glad you have the bidet. I'll bet it DOES save a lot of pain.

Hi Shirley

Yes it does make a huge difference. Wish I had it years ago. It is worth every penny it cost. The pain in my belly is starting to get me down though. Probably call my doctor if I am not any better in the morning. Thinking it just may be something more than the CC this time.

You must be either up late or early. What time is it where you are?

Love

Liz

I was up extremely early, Liz. I woke up about 2:30 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. I think I'm overtired from the trip. I went back to bed but didn't sleep long. I got up again about 5:30 and I guess I'm up to stay this time.

Hope tomorrow is a better one for you.

Hi Liz,

Sorry to hear about such a bad episode. I'm inclined to think you might be correct--if the pain is much worse than normal, it could indeed be due to something else this time.

If you feel that your condition is deteriorating, please don't wait too long before going to see your doctor.

Love,
Wayne
