More devastating news...............

There was a standoff in our city today involving a terminally ill patient who had clinical depression. He was unhappy with his healthcare and shot and killed the assisted living manager and his home health care aide. The home health care aide was my sister's mother-in-law.

The family is devastated with much on their plate this weekend. A granddaughter graduates this Sunday; another is in the air force stationed in Arizona; my sister's mother-in-law's birthday would have been Monday. sigh

The standoff ended with the patient committing suicide.

Please keep the family of both victims in your prayers. The other victim was a 28 year old single mother of a 4 year old. She was the apartment manager.
