Emily had some soy today and her colon was very uncomfortable today.
She confessed that she did over eat and that could be the culprit.
I'm going to leave it out of her diet for a few more days and reintroduce it.
We're waiting on the tests from Dr. Fine and will know for sure real soon.

When I started the gf diet and slipped, I'd often say "well I hurt because I did such and such". Then I'd realize that I'm in good enough shape that that shouldn't be the case. I think it was denial. I only say that because it sounds a bit as if Emily is looking for a reason for soy to not be a problem (and I don't blame her one bit for that). I'm glad you've got the tests on the way. Is she otherwise continuing to feel better?

soy
Roni,
I stay away from Soy- my body does not like it at all. I have not had tests yet though to confirm an intolerance or sensitivity. It will be good to see Emily's results from Dr. Fines tests. I admire so much your committment to your lovely daughter. She's a lucky gal to have you for a Mom.
Love,
Joanna
