Marsha,
In the Lectin Report buckwheat is listed with the grains as having lectins. Since you seem sensitive to some lectins, perhaps that might account for your reactions.
I don't know have valid the information is...if buckwheat is just lumped in with the grains or if it's based on research into buckwheat itself. So you can take this with a grain of salt, and try it again if you think the symptoms came from the latte!
Hugs, Celia

Hi Celia,
Thanks . . It's weird that some families of lectins are bad for some people, but others ok. I did notice that since I ate the buckwheat, I've had horrible hand aches: like when I was getting off prednisone. And I think buckwheat would be in the nightshade family, wouldn't it? If so, that would make sense.
You can only think about this stuff so much without getting a headache, don't you think?
Love, Marsha

That's interesting Marsha because I got a terrible handache last week myself. It really hurt and it took a few days to go away. I'm sure it was food related. But I didn't eat buckwheat! I can't remember what it was cause I gave up and stopped keeping a food diary. Like you say, you can only think about this stuff so much! Celia
I beleive in magic!
