Post by Tessa »

Hi my dear friends (mis queridos amigos) :bigbighug:

I am SO happy to be with you again. Sincerely, it was a bad experience, I felt really sick... but thanks God, it is all over now.

I need a few days now to recover, because I am feeling extremely tired and weak... I have been eating and sleeping since I got home.
I hope to write more next time I connect. Sorry for not being very extensive... I promise to share more soon, after having a long
:sleep2:

Thanks for your support and good vibs,
You have always been on my mind,
Love,
Tessa

Hi Tessa,

I'm very glad that the test is over, and you're back again. I hope that the test produced the information that your doctors need to make a correct diagnosis, and end the problems you have been having. It will be interesting to see what they found.

Love,
Wayne

Hi Tessa!

I'm here to add my good wishes too. It must be such a relief to have it over with. Now all you have to do is relax and build up your strength again. Oh, yes......and try to get to the bottom of your health problems. I know you must be so frustrated. It is good to know that you are not hypoglycemic, but then, what in the world is causing your distress???? I'm sure that the problem will be found, but I wish it could have happened yesterday.

Thnking of you and sending my best thoughts for health and wellness...

Love, :pulsinghearts:

Polly

P.S. Oh.....In case anyone is wondering how I knew that the test was negative, it's because I have spoken with Tessa over the phone!!! And I have to tell you that she is just as delightful and sweet in person as she is on the board! And her English is absolutely impeccable. She doesn't even have an accent. I told her that I felt as if I was having a chat with one of my American girlfriends!

Hi Tessa,

I hope sleeping helps. I can't even imagine how tired you must be, much less the body aches and all . .

Hi My dear friends.
:bigbighug:

After a few days cooking all the food I had been dreaming of in Hospital :hungry: :hungry: (and eating it)

Sleeping till late :sleep2:

And having a wonderful weekend, I am back and recovered.

I wish to say a big thank you to all of you who have shared my experience (long distance)
And gave me your support and good vibs. :thanks:
Barbara, Shirley, Wayne, Celia, Polly, Marsha, Oma, Karen & Jill

Barbara, I also could not imagine I would be all that time without any food...And I have to add it is a terrible experience if you are used to eat so often as I do...

Shirley, answering your question (and others) about my experience , I can say that...
The first day at the Hospital was a kind of... A day off from work...
The second day...
I have been really sick.
:puke:

Yes, Wayne, I am SO glad it is over.

I have nothing to say about
:nurse: nurses and doctors, as their interest was high.

At the end of my stay, food was excellent
I had a SUPER GF & DF diet.

The doctor asked for a stool test, but...
:flush:
What could I do? I had no food in my body for 60 hours! (You know what I mean).
The stool test will be carried out next week

The fasting test results will not be available until next month (aprox.) but the preliminary result shows I have NO HYPOGLYCEMIA.
Which is a relief... And a worry...
A relief because it is not Hypoglycemia.
A worry, because we will have to continue trying to find the problem.
:hammerhead:

Polly, thank you for your kind words. You are always so sweet.
And thank you for your comments about our conversation on the phone... and your opinion about me.
I loved talking to you. You know how to listen :listen: and being a good friend... :pulsinghearts: :bigbighug:

For all of you :pulsinghearts: de todo corazón, again,
Thank you :rose: for being there when needed,
Love,
Tessa.

P.S.: Hey! That was a long post.

Tessa.

Sorry I missed all of this, I've been super busy at work and haven't check in here.

I would have been thinking about you and wishing you well. Hope it counts in retrospect.

Love, Jean
