I've been really, really, really......tired & Marsha suggested I start a journal w/my diet for you all to critique. I'm thinking rice & sulfites. Let it rip!!!!! Love & light, Rita

Hi Babci,
It's extremely rare to be rice intolerant. I would be surprised if that were the problem. Also, I don't see a significant amount of sulfites in your diet, unless I'm overlooking it.
I reviewed your journal entry. I don't see anything drastically wrong there, except that I notice you are eating several processed foods, albeit GF. I seem to have problems with many processed foods, even though the label looks ok. The longer the list of ingredients, the more likely I am to have problems. I don't always get sick from them, (though sometimes I do), I just don't do well.
The tummy ache after eating the breakfast cereal with almond milk is a caution flag. If it happens every time, it's a BIG RED warning flag. Have you tried something like plain, organic puffed rice, with no preservatives, and no additives, (add your own preferred sweetener). Also, those cookies have a lot of ingredients. It's possible to make good, safe cookies with a lot less ingredients.
The broccoli rabe would probably bother me, though I admit I have never tried it. It's similar to lettuce, isn't it? I'm not sure I could handle the mustard, either, since it tends to irritate the gut.
In general, I believe the main problem we are facing is Leaky Gut Syntrome, (LGS), and in order to minimize problems with LGS, the diet should not include foods that are harsh on the intestinal lining. These include sugar, gluten sources, dairy products, high fat foods, caffeine, alcohol and other foods, such as chillies, curries, vinegar, pepper and mustard.
Incidentally, LGS is also thought to be the underlying cause of a number of other autoimmune diseases such as lupus and multiple sclerosis.
I'm not trying to claim that your diet is particularly bad, I'm just thinking out loud here, and considering how it would affect me. YMMV, and I certainly hope you start feeling better soon. Have you added up the calories you're ingesting, to make sure you're taking in enough to support an active lifestyle?

I used to like you. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Please don't make me give up my Nana cookies & chips. I am usually gone from the house from 7AM until 7PM so I need to pack up food. The cookies & chips are easy to transport because they are individually wrapped so I can keep some in the car. Who has time to bake???? lol Lucky if I remember to shower. Don't think the mustard is a problem because I've been eating it from day 1. I'm wondering about the almond milk & have tried it with plain puffed rice (which is what I usually have). Rabe is a bitter green like collards that you saute up with olive oil & garlic. Very yummy & also has not been a problem. Usually have not had any GI upset or D jusr feeling tired. My endo just changed my thyroid med & I'm wondering if it hasn't yet kicked in for the season change. Too tired to post my journal tonoc but I will tomorrow. I really am listening, just don't like to hear it Thank you Wayne & . Did I mention that my hubby is also a 6-10 Gemini? Remember that nothing I say is chiseled in stone, because we're all different. I hear what you're saying about needing "handy" food for at least snacks. I buy cookies and mixes from The Gluten Free Cookie Jar. They make them to order, so they're always fresh, but are not individually wrapped. They use a lot less ingredients, and are available either dairy free, or not, buyer's choice.
You may well be right about the thyroid med. That could be overriding everything, and it certainly could be the key to your energy levels. If you don't have D, the mustard and veggies are not bothering you. In fact, if you don't have D, there's no reason to consider changing your diet, certainly not until you find out how well the thyroid meds are going to work.

I'm actually not working all that time. I also do school pickup & babysitting for the 4 angels in the picture. So part of that 7-7 is transporting to softball, little league etc...... Lots of fun but still long days in the car. I stay up late too & always did & get up early. Working on all of that. Love & light, Rita

I have the same problem with staying up too late, and then I can't get to sleep for a couple of hours. Then I wake up early every morning. Sigh.
