I'm miss beer terribly. Nothing like it on a hot summer day. I used to sample all types of beer. Guess I was somewhat of a connoisseur. I miss the pizza that went along with it.

When I went gluten free, I read somewhere that mead is a good substitute. I finally tried it a few weeks ago. It tastes nothing like beer, but was very interesting. It's made from honey, so it's very sweet. It's not something I would want to drink more than a glass or two of.

PS Katy, I never could stand cake or cookies, and I used to just eat lunch meat without the bread. I wonder if that was my body telling me something?
Be kind to everyone, because you never know what battles they are fighting.
