I spent the evening with Robert Redford!

Post by Peggy »

Okay - chronologically let's get this down...

Sorry I've been so quiet of late. I've been very busy at work (the teachers are in the midst of an impending strike - I work for the teacher's union).

I tripped at work Thursday before last, and those of you that know I broke my neck in four places and am still healing from that know that that was a really bad bad bad thing to do.

I went and saw Robert Redford speak last night at a Unique Lives special downtown. I can't believe I was actually in the same room with the man! Too bad I had to share the experience with so many others causing me an impossibility of getting up close and personal  He still looks so incredible, who cares how old he is! I sure don't. He is very intelligent, articulate, has a great sense of humor...oh who cares...he still looks GREAT!

I've been getting ready for my trip to New York - which is only FIVE sleeps away...woohooo!

Ronny (hubby) and I celebrate our 11th anniversary tomorrow  We have a glorious dinner planned, and the rest is, well, you know, kinda personal

Norman's cousin has entered the building! At long last I have relief from the dreaded D. Things aren't perfect in that department, but much improved. Lately I've only been going in the morning...what a blessing.

Much love my friends,
Peggy

Love,
Mars

What a great experience. You obviously enjoyed it, ( Robert Redford I mean)

Sounds like you had a great Anniversary celebration. Hope Norman has come to stay & that your neck is better before you leave for NY.

WOW PEG!!!
I agree about Robert Redford. Great lookin' man.

I'm hoping you are recovered from your "trip" and that it's not too painful by now. No more mishaps allowed. You've used up your quota....OK.

I'll be keeping my :xfingers: that Norman's cousin will stick tight. Perhaps he'll come visit him. I know it would make your N.Y. trip a lot more pleasant not to mention your daily life.

Have a GREAT ANNIVERSARY tomorrow. Hope you enjoy every minute of it!!

Hi Peg,

I am so happy for you all, getting together. One of these days I know it will work out for me to get to join in, too. In the meantime I'm happy for you . . . . Who-Ha-Sisterhood!!!

A long time ago in college a teacher had our whole class take the Meyers-Briggs Personality test (which divides people into something like 8 catagories) and then had all the types gather and visit for 15 minutes. It was like meeting long lost conjoined twins! It's hard to describe how weird the connection was. Anyway, I imagine the meeting of "EmCeers" would be something like that: weird in a really really good way, and fun. Or maybe like soldiers who'd been through bootcamp together. In either case, I'll be thinking about you next weekend.

Get well fast,
Marsha

Marsha!

I'm an ENTP.....what are you? I agree, when I was with a group of ENTPers during a retreat, I felt like I had found my soulmates! LOL!

Excuse my ignorance but what is a Meyers-Briggs Personality test?? :???:

I expect that we would find lots of similarities in any sort of test because we have had similar experiences. Is ther a intestine centred personality, do you think.

I know whatever your personalities are you are all going to have a wonderful get together in Nooo Yawk. Lots of laughs and maybe a few tears, but only of happiness at being able to actually have a beautiful group hug. We reach out to each other over cyberspace, here on the board, but nothing would beat real personal contact.

Lotsa love
