Hi All,
I've added a login box at the top of each page, which only shows if you are not logged in. If you use the auto login feature, then this probably won't affect the way you use the board.
I'd like your opinion on whether to keep this change, or scrap it and go back to the way it was originally.
Thanks,
Tex

Auto login doesn't work for me either. I guess it depends on which browser we use. Another update has been made available for php bulletin boards, so I'll probably install that sometime today. Maybe one of these days the programmers will resolve the auto login problem so that it will work correctly for all browsers.
I always prefer to log in, though, so that I can easily see which which posts are new, and which ones I've already read. I always hated having to either scroll down to the bottom of the page, or clicking on the "Log in" link and then waiting for it to auto-fill with my username and password.
Actually, if you are browsing as a guest, and you want to add a post, all you have to do is click on either the "newtopic" or "postreply" button, and the system will automatically take you to a login window. After you click on the "login" button, it should return you to the posting window where you started.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
