Wow-gas-free chili!!

Post by CAMary »

I recently tried for the first time Amy's chili. I used to have a list of acceptable chilis - but had never tried this one. It was recently reviewed in the food section of our paper and got high marks! The fact that it says GF on the label makes it simple to not have to remember which versions of which brands are okay (I'm an infrequent chili eater anyways!)

Wow - good stuff!! It is meatless, with some other veggies in it. I had it over a baked potato for lunch. I ended up eating the leftovers the next day over tortilla chips - sort of a mock nachos thing (Mike is out of town and the kids were having mac and cheese...) I noticed specifically that I had less gas than I would on a typical day, even after having it 2 days in a row!

Fartless chili...whoda thunk it!?!

The true test will be feeding it to my methane-producing, global warming husband  If it has a similar effect, I will personally write to the folks at Amy's, showering them with praise! And thank them for helping to preserve the air quality in our bedroom!
