Oh----and to finish the get together---- as Lou and I were walking back to get our car-----we run into 2 guys in OTIS uniforms---NOW this got Lou Xcited---started a few words and before we know it---the 2 guys cell phone a mechanic down the next street--informing him that they just met a retired OTIS guy who knows this guy---so it was like *old home week* for Louie also----
He and this guy hugged and laughed --talked about old times---things they did--didnt---and then this guy is waiting for his *mechanic* to pick him up----and its a GIRL~~~~~~and Lou also worked with this gals dad!!

Whewwwwwwww----whatta a day~~~~~~

We luved walking thru our old stomping grounds----matter of fact was looking up *where the ball comes down* NY;s EVE---and did the uuuuh and ahhhhh---a couple passing by us--say *they are tourists*
I guess we did look like visitors to the big City---

Again, it was a wonderful day---

Wow! What are the odds of running into someone you know in a city the size of NY?

Lou really beat the odds on that one. I hope he's feeling ok today, and the appointment tomorrow goes well, and they don't have to do any more "blasting", or "mining".

 It has made me feel good just to read your posts about meeting Peg & the girls & their spouses, and then Lou's encounters with "the past".

So glad all has gone well and hope everything stays good for tomorrow.
